A well-equipped gîte in a charming location looking out over a wooded valley. Ideal for walkers and cyclists as the area is criss-crossed by signed paths and tracks and a 'voie verte' for cyclists starts 5 km away and goes all the way to Bressuire (and beyond) There are laminated cards in the gîte giving maps and directions for a range of local walks/rides. Dogs are welcome and there is a spacious kennel with outside run for those days you visit attractions which don't accept pets.
The main bedroom has a double and a single bed, the second bedroom has a low ceiling and bunk beds so is not suitable for 6-footers! The bathroom has a shower and a full-sized bath and the toilet is separate. The kitchen has a full-size cooker and lots of cooking equipment, microwave, kettle, toaster, pressure cooker and wok. There is a family size dishwasher and a fridge-freezer. The lounge has a sofa , an easy chair and a coffee table. In the same room is the dining table and 5 chairs, TV, DVDs,CDs. There are 2 extension leads converting French plugs to English for your UK appliances.
The terrace has a table and 5 chairs, parasol and BBQ for those summer meals outdoors! Your clothes drying rack is there (iron and ironing cloth are in the gîte) The laundry in the barn has 3 machines, a tumble drier and a drying rack.
Outside there is a play area, natural swimming pool (no chlorine so good for those who are sensitive to chemicals) boules pitch with outside lighting and car park. The games room is in the barn along with a selection of bikes you can borrow.
